Veterans Day 2020 – Hear from WWI Vet Henry Davis

In honor of Veterans Day and those who have served, we’d like to introduce you to Henry Oscar Davis, WWI Veteran and longtime resident of Douglas County, Minnesota. Henry Davis was deployed in France and part of the last drive when the Armistice of November 11, 1918, went into effect.

In the following selections from an oral history interview recorded on April 20, 1989, hear Mr. Davis tell part of his story in his own words and voice, from being drafted to his description of the Armistice.
