Spruce Hill Summer Song Fest – Sunday, July 12, 2015 – Prelude Music Begins At 2:00

Come and enjoy the Spruce Hill Summer Song Fest at the beautiful, historic Spruce Hill Lutheran Church in northeast Douglas County, MN.
Sunday, July 12, 2015
2:00 p.m – Lynn Olson and friends will provide wonderful pre-service music.
The Gordon Men’s Choir will sing and lead us in our favorite hymns. There will be a short devotional by Pastor Dan Foster.
At 3:30, following the song fest, enjoy a picnic at nearby Spruce Hill County Park. Grilled Klinder’s hot dogs, potato salad and other picnic fixings will be provided.

The Lusty family will provide horse-drawn wagon rides from the Church to the park after the service.

A free will offering for both activities is much appreciated.

The beautiful country setting of Spruce Hill Church seems to have Google maps baffled.  Some map apps show Ottertail Trail NE is the address, and others show this:

13148 Spruce Hill Park Rd NE, Miltona, MN 56354

contact: (320) 762-0382 (Douglas County Historical Society)

The Spruce Hill County Park website is here, for an interesting historical map of the Spruce Hill “ghost town” and facts about the park:
