The Douglas County Historical Society's Research Library provides a friendly atmosphere for the novice researcher and the experienced genealogist! Our knowledgeable and experienced research volunteers can get you started on all your needs. You can do the work, or we can do the work for you!
A monthly DCHS Genealogy Guild membership is available to anyone interested in networking with other's with the same passion for researching family history. The Guild meets on the second Thursday of each month, 5:30 - 7 p.m. Some evenings included potluck dinners and longer programs.
Genealogy classes, including four sessions, are offered each spring and fall. Watch for details on dates and times. Minimal fee for each session/plus any copies made.
