Solem Lutheran Church invites you to their “Coming Home” service on Sunday, May 20, 2012. This day also includes the Cemetery Association’s Annual Meeting at 9:00 a.m., followed by the Solem Preservation Association Annual Meeting at 9:45 a.m.; worship at 10:30 a.m., followed by a classic potluck.

Solem Lutheran Church is located just North of Kensington, Minnesota on County Road 1.

Please Consider Donating Your Time & Resources To Help Our Garden Grow!
Any assistance is greatly appreciated in helping us reach our goals.

Our wish list:

- Volunteers to help build a garden shed

- Donations of building materials

- Volunteers to help with seeds, plants (especially perennials) and planting

- Donations for trees or plantings

- Plastic milk cartons for over plants, hose repair kits, bamboo poles, 5-6 gallon jugs (more commonly known as pickle jugs)

We would like to expand the garden to include a potting shed. The potting shed would have many uses including storage for tools, starting seeds, storage of seeds as well as a meeting and planning place for the volunteers and staff. You can help with donations for building materials and construction costs. We would also appreciate donations for new plants and trees.

Historic Kitchen Garden

The Historic Kitchen Garden was started in 2011 with help from many volunteers,the Master Gardeners and donations. It was a success! We donated 75 lbs to the Food Shelf. This year we are hoping to expand our heritage garden with new plants and erecting a potting shed.

Our annual Christmas Open House and Ethnic Bake Sale is around the corner.
